With over 15 years of experience across executive coaching, global business, and higher education, Caroline Vial brings a rich, interdisciplinary lens to her work with leaders and teams navigating growth and complexity.
A Board-Certified Executive Coach, Caroline helps clients foster innovation, resilience, and purpose-driven performance. Her approach blends research-based insights with practical strategy to build alignment, spark reflection, and support sustainable success.
Her expertise includes executive and team coaching, leadership innovation, business strategy, and applied positive psychology. Known for her strengths-based, inclusive style, she creates space for psychological safety and team flow. Her clients range from Fortune 100 executives to startup founders, with a strong focus on mission-driven organizations and women leaders.
Caroline is an adjunct faculty member at Northwestern University’s McCormick School of Engineering where she teaches organizational leadership and team dynamics. She also serves as a mentor at 1871, Chicago’s leading tech accelerator, and as an executive coach for the Chicago Foundation for Women.
Earlier in her career, she was a founding executive of Ronati, a woman-owned tech company operating in more than 10 countries, where she led global partnerships in the arts and antiques sector.
Caroline holds a Ph.D. from Northwestern University, an M.A. from the Sorbonne-Nouvelle, and a B.A. from Middlebury College. She completed the Executive Development Program at the Kellogg School of Management and is certified in Hogan Assessments, Team Coaching, and Applied Positive Psychology
